Acne Facial Cleanser by Mario Badescu Review January 29, 2009

This is the probably the mother of all Acne Facial Cleansers out on the market. Mario Badescu Acne Facial Cleanser is a must have product to use in your daily skin care regimen. So go ahead and toss out that other crap that cost more and does nothing.

Acne Facial Cleanser (6 oz.) – $ 15.00

From: Mario Badescu Skin Care

I’ve been using this Acne Facial Cleanser for 3 months and it has consistently helped me control my acne problem because of my crappy oily skin. This cleanser is powerful and effective yet very gentle on my skin. One of it’s main ingredients is Salicylic Acid which is plant based and all natural. It helps in the removal of dead skin and exfoliate making sure that my skin doesn’t get all clogged up. Definitely a must have and receives my two thumbs up!

There’s a whole slew of ineffective acne treatment and prevention products out on store shelves and the Internet. We’ve all seen it somewhere or another even when we’re not looking for it. So whenever one of my friends ask me which product I use to treat and prevent acne I always recommend Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion.

So what’s so good about Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion? First off it’s sulfur based so the all natural acne fighting ingredients get deep into your skin. Another ingredient great ingredient called Allantoin takes care of your outer skin by healing acne damaged skin. The Buffering Lotion is perfect of combination and oily skin types.

I’ve been using Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion for a month so far and I have to agree with the other reviews that this products works.

Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion cost $17.00 for a 1 ounce bottle. The bottle is really the only problem I have. It’s difficult for me to squeeze the last bits from the bottom. Who knows maybe I just have weak hands =)

If you know she uses Mario Badescu skin care products you can also check out what she has in her bathroom. I think it’s perfectly fine to buy skin care products she uses already. When we choose skin care products we usually like to stick with what we use because it works. But any of the moisturizers and lotions I recommend above are the best ones and they work great against the effects of winter and cold on our skin.

Mario Badescu Herbal Hydrating Serum Review January 21, 2009

Since my boyfriend lives and works up in Massachusetts I find myself flying up more often to visit. I tell you, the cold weather is brutal up North. I bet if my skin had feelings it would be totally confused and if my skin could talk it would say “Will you please choose a climate!” So of course I rely on my favorite skin care company to take care of my skin, Mario Badescu Herbal Hydrating Serum.

Here are the full ingredients: Deionized Water, Glycerin, Methylparaben, Triethanolamine, Propylene Glycol, Herbal Extracts: Ginseng Extract, Gingko Extract, and Ceramides.

I really like this hydrating serum, mostly because it’s not too heavy, especially because I suffer from oily skin =(
So I can mix this serum with my other favorite moisturizers or simply use it alone. The fact that I can customize the usage is a great advantage since my skin varies from time to time and climate to climate.

Herbal Hydrating Serum (1 oz.) – $ 30.00

From: Mario Badescu Skin Care

I started trying out the Herbal Hydrating Serum late December and I must say I really do like the results. I never applied this serum as a night moisturizer, only during the daytime when my skin is most affected by the climate. It kept my skin smooth and soft, and of course, no heavy greasy feeling. I hate it when my face feels all gooped up. So this is definitely a dry skin product I’ll be using a lot more often.

So if you have dry skin problems I recommend you give Mario Badescu Herbal Hydrating Serum a try.

Dry Skin Care Products By Mario Badescu January 11, 2009

Here is another great short video put out by Mario Badescu. It shows one of their skin care experts explaining how to deal dry skin properly. I absolutely agree with everything she says in this video. It is very important to use a toner that will not strip away all the moisture from our face. Such harsh products should be banned in my opinion. Very helpful information and tips from the expert.

Here is a list of Mario Badescu products that I know are great for treating and reducing dry skin. The reason why I chose these is because they are very effective. But most importantly its because they are light, non greasy, and non skin clogging.

Aloe Vera Toner (16 oz.) – $ 26.00

This toner is alcohol free and gently removes oil from your pores without overstripping.

Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap Review January 1, 2009

As much as I like Sushi I love the Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap just as much. It’s very gently on the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy film like other seaweed based products I’ve used before.

Seaweed Cleansing Soap (16 oz.) – $ 20.00

From: Mario Badescu Skin Care

Personally I have oily skin and I noticed that this cleanser is very effective in cleaning my face yet not very harsh. It doesn’t dry out my face, leaving my with dry skin. The soap itself is very thick and creamy, yet not greasy and slimy seaweed on the beach. Great fragrance by the way, even though I’m not a fan of fragrant skin care products. So don’t worry it won’t make you smell like a fruit salad.

I have been using this particular product for about 3 months and I am very happy with it. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for great benefits of seaweed based products.
